Mr. Green is a product of Leon County public schools, and he was graduated from Lincoln High School in 2005. Thereafter, Mr. Green attended Florida A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He drew inspiration to become a lawyer and public servant from his grandfather, Judge Hatchett, who taught him that equality and justice for all is possible through application of the rule of law. 

• Rashad attended law school at Florida Coastal School of Law, where he graduated with honors distinction in 2013. While in law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Monte C. Richardson, U.S. Magistrate Judge. 

• Served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Charles R. Wilson of the U.S. Court of Appeals Eleventh Circuit.

• Assistant State Attorney in the Office of the State Attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit of Florida, where he tried jury and bench trials to verdict as lead counsel.

• Worked as a litigation associate at Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. in Tampa, Florida, where he handled first party property disputes and sinkhole claims. 

• The founding attorney of Rashad Green Firm, where his practice is focused in the areas of criminal defense including DUIs, drug offenses and serious felony charges, personal injury, and state and federal appeals.

• President-Elect of the Tallahassee Barristers Association, which focuses on the legal and economic empowerment of minorities in Tallahassee by upholding the highest standards of legal ethics and principles within the legal profession. 

• Member of The Florida Bar Constitutional Judiciary Committee, which provides resources to the public regarding the courts, the Constitution, and the roles of judges and juries.

• Former President and founding member of the Tampa Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society.
